    Default Mandarin Duck

This Mandarin Duck was taken at Los Angeles Arboretum with a Canon 40D and a 100/400 lens.

    John,

That's an outstanding image. The color is great, and the blue and gold water make a nice background.

    Thanks Jason,

I not the best photographer, but once in a while I get lucky. They were about four of them and they spent the whole day in the shade of the over hanging trees. So around sunset this one came to this small pond and just sat there and let me take a lot of shots of him before he went back into the shade of the trees.

Thanks Bob, What other birds have you seen there. I have seen Wood duck, and Night Heron, many kinds of Humming birds, and a Red Whiskered Bulbul.
