Default Skimmer- acrobats of the air

I love seeing these special looking birds skimming. They are real acrobats of the air and the water surface. This photo was taken if February this year at the last light of the Yucatan winter day. Comments are welcome.

Nice low angle that gave you a beautiful BG, good quality light, and I like the fully raised wings. I also dig the water pattern reflecting on the body. Well done overall.

    Lorant:

Daniel covered it well, agree, esp. like the light.

I haven't seen them dragging the feet in the water as well as the bill, nicely displayed.

The background colors harmonize well with the bird.

    Cheers

    This is lovely Lorant.
Great IQ and love the low POV.
    Sweet light .
I really like the colors in the BG.
I could see a version with the bird moved to the left of the frame to allow a bit more room up front.
