Like this one Jonathan ,colours on the beak and feet lift the image, landing pose very well caught.

Excellent flight/landing image. The colours look spot on to me.

The puffin looks like it is rock hopping! Pretty neat. The bill and legs stand out nicely. I do feel the large oof FG rock is a bit unfortunate, and I'd add a tiny catchlight to the eye to give it more life. Still a fun image!

Wonderful catch of pre-touch down! Bird is in a nice position....and exposure it well done. Puffin's head and neck are in focus...again well done! You should be proud of this image! TFS!

Fun shot Jonathan. I thought he was rock hopping, not landing!
Would crop up a bit from the bottom.

Good landing pose Jonathan! Sadly the light must be the typical English special - gloomy, but the image itself makes up for that.

    Agree about the catchlight.

Thanks Akos, I did consider the catchlight at the time of processing but I decided against it because it wasn't there in the first place and given the lighting conditions if I had put one there I think some smart **** would have pointed that out
