Inspired by Morks B&W image, here is one from me. This was at Okavango Delta, where the buck was sprinting in the marshy area. The place was so beautiful. Totally unspoilt and pristine! Converted in Nik Silver efex Pro.

Hi Sanjeev -- NIce habitat with perfect timimg to capture the jump, I feel a 16 x 9 crop should have been a better option keeping the buck in the center of the frame provided u had some space on the LHS . TFS !

Great capture of the Reedbuck with all feet in the air! In this b&w version I like how it is easy to pick out the animal from the marshy surroundings. The flow of the running & leaping Reedbuck is supported by having all the compositional elements horizontal; the layers of grass, the horizontal layer of water, & the low horizontal layer of the bkgd trees. I would consider removing that one partial tree on the upper left edge, if you do that sort of thing. Considering the flow of the layers this one tree appears distracting to me because it is partial and has too much branch detail. The other trees blend nicely.

Hi Sanjeev - What a great experiment! Nice timing with the reedbuck on the run and all 4 legs in the air. I am ok with comp as is but can also see a version with some off the bottom. If it were mine I would burn the highlight in the water above the head and also back off on the sharpening of the reeds/grasses. Keep them coming.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Lovely shot, and the separation of the main subject is great. Agree on both 16:9 and cropping from the bottom, as well as slightly less sharpening on the reeds. the layered feel is great, with a soft, distant background, almost misty as presented. Timing and subject position in the frame looks perfect to me.

    Hello Sanjeev,

Lovely conversion and nice 3D feel, well seen and captured!

I like everything about this image, although I agree that Andreas' crop somehow works better for me.
Love this leaping bokkie, another wonderful Theme image and such a pleasure to view

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

    Hi Sanjeev

    Love this!

You didn't state focal length, but here the deep DOF works well!
    Regards

    Andre.
