While visiting an Amazon village on last months trip to Peru, we encountered many chickens, roosters, and their young. This beautiful rooster was just that, and a lifer for me. C&C welcome.

Just a touch soft for my taste but overall a splendid portrait. Regards, Ian.

Great portrait. Perfect HA. Looks very sharp to me where it counts, on the comb, eye and wattle. Neck and breast plumage maybe slightly softer, but doesn't hurt the image IMHO. You might consider cropping out just a bit from the bottom.

How cool is that! Nice comp, exposure. The slate grey BG makes the reds stand out beautifully. The image looks properly focussed, just needs a bit of sharpening for web to get the fine details really sharp.
