I love these colourful birds. Such characters they are. Sometimes skittish, sometimes just not bothered by our presence.

Hi Sanjeev, what a great front on pose showing off the colours, and one bird that mostly perches in the open. Yes I agree, most times they are not bothered about humans stopping by to photograph them. I would 'break' off the OOF branch on the RHS.

Lovely image Sanjeev. Beautiful detail and colours on the bird. Very nice HA, and POV. Agree with Stu regarding the branch, and maybe just a little more room on top. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sanjeev - I like the comp with the placement of the bird in the frame. Nice detail and sharpness. If it were mine I might darken the greens and also give them a little saturation boost.

    Beautiful light.
I am OK with the greens because this is often "as is" in Botswana due to the dust and dryness.
Agree with cloning out the OOF branch.
ANother option would be to make this a vertical if you have enough pixels.
    Lovely image!

I love the texture of the plumage. Nice colours and light. Yes, the oof branch is unfortunate, and this would have been nice as an in-camera vertical. Still a wonderful image!
