Yet another shot from North Beach at Desoto, apologies if you've all seen too many now! Possibly I was a little too low for this shot as there was a small raised area of sand, but it appealed to me with the way the surf was breaking behind

MIke I really like this. The 'lack of feet' does not detract too much for me, and great light on the eye and head, with decent feather detail in blacks and whites. your subject well isolated from bg and fg, great shot.

Excellent work and my favourite type of image i.e., where the bird emerges from a blur. The light has caught the bird's face nicely.

Hi Mike, beautiful warm light hitting the bird face just right. I think seeing a little bit more feet would have been nicer. Also I wish the white was also lit. Otherwise, it is a really good image. Loi

Lovely shot Mike very rich colours, a very striking and unusual shot for UK. Well done.

Wonderful image Mike, as if he/she is walking on clouds :-) Nice low POV and eye contact.

Works for me! I love the sunlight hitting the face - I just wish the whole bill was equally lit. The "dreamy" perspective works well as you left just enough room for the feet.

Hi Mike the POV is great and I like the 'mush' FG and a nice change in this instance not to have all the legs/feet in, it works.

Agree with Dan about the bill, but wonder if the intensity of saturation within the bill maybe concealing the detail, but it might be due to the shallow DoF, but not a deal breaker either way.

Hi Mike, I really like these type of images where the subject is blending into the FG. Excellent exposure on the OC, your shooting perspective spot on, and the OC pops so well against that pastel blue BG. Well captured.

I'm liking this 'cloud walker', Mike. Very nice touch too with the bird just catching the spot of direct sun on top of head and back. The soft blues in BG are beautiful. Well done.

lovely pose and details, HA is perfect. I like how he is stepping out of the mist, but I do wish we could see his feet a bit better
