Nice image, Sanjeev! I like the low perspective and the composition is pleasing. The light also seems to have a golden quality. I will be there in September. What was the slowest SS you could use when shooting from the boat?

Hi Sanjeev - Another nice elephant image though I think your previous ones were a bit more engaging. Maybe it's the eye contact or the action. This one is nicely processed. If it were mine, I would give the midtones a slight boost.

Hi Sanjeev, nice to get low down, provides a nice perspective and based on the river bank seems a favourite watering hole & bathing. Not sure what you are processing with these days, but a slight drop in the blacks within the Tonal curve of LR just adds a bit more punch, likewise a hint more sharpening. No deal breaker, but not having the Ele in the BKG would have been better IMHO, but I like what looks to be a small Plover on the bank.

Not sure why you would want a slow SS Karen unless you wanted some movement within the subject, you want a good SS at all times and especially on a boat, plane, helicopter... 1/2500 looks spot on to me and well balanced with the ISO.

    Steve
