Fun image, thanks for sharing. I would be tempted to take a bit off the bottom (add to the top) and move the bird a bit to the left. I personally don't think the perch/mud hill adds much to the image, and I prefer the BG.

I agree with Richard re: taking some off the bottom and top.
The muddy mound is a bit overpowering.
Bird is so funny looking!
I like the color palette with the blues in the BG and the pop of yellow.
