Amazing that within a few weeks the grass and wild plants all take over and envelop anything in it's path, two weeks later it was then all cut back. Offering a perch (now surrounded by the tall grasses) seems to be most welcome, as they are quite happy to use it as a vantage point and if sounds are heard, they are very quick to investigate, as in this instance it appears.
Often we strive for clear lines of sight, but in this instance I feel the grasses play an integral part in the overall scene/environment/habitat. Shot on a rather dull & overcast afternoon.
