I guess this counts as high-key? This is the lovely Amazilia amazilia that Geoffrey and I saw at a private reserve outside of Lima last month. Full-height +, cropped from horizontal and added canvas beneath. Removed an OOF flower. Shot on a foggy, low-light morning in natural light. Certainly some more SS would have been good but I was already pushing the ISO beyond my comfort level.

    Bill Sir,
Magnificent and fantastic action packed image in soft lights. Nicely balanced colours in the frame. Pleasant colors on nicely textured flower.
Love the acrobatic pose with full up wings and nice catch light. I like the how he held the flower edge with tiny claws.
    Great composition.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Beautiful image, great composition, nice pose and nice flower, Bill. The bird even has a tiny catch light in the eye.

Great capture Bill. Sharpness of the bird less than expected, maybe DOF, movement, noise reduction or a combination of factors. Regards, Ian.
