A perfect pose, with the prey a big bonus. Nice light (probably not easy to get in a forest setting) and spectacular color. The vegetation on the left balances it nicely.

Thank you so much Bill Sir for your kind comments. This is in the forest area only in private property. Near it's nest we had perch, but light direction is not ideal. Besides that it is rainy season here.
So the parents come there to feed babies with variety of feeds, big and large reptiles, spiders etc. I will post with some other preys too shortly. Background will depend upon the place where parents sits before entering the nest.

What a delightful image! At first I was stunned by the colorful bird, then the prey, and then the wonderful sharpness of the bird and prey. Very nice pose. The lighting and soft background are pleasing also. Thank you so much for sharing!

Great angle from the KF showing off his meal, and nicely separated from the BG. What a great opportunity you had here.

Dear Sanjeev, you are welcome.
Best season to get pictures of this little beauty is June to Sep. You will get images of these bird every half an hour with different kill. It is fun to see it.
