Beautiful sea BG, and I love the perch - great colours. Well balanced composition. I think you could tone down the very brightest whites IMO, but good job on the tough exposure, especially with the strong light. I kinda wish the subject was not leaning back, but it's still not bad.

Hi Will - I also like the comp, the colors and the bg. Looks like you are getting some reflected color up on the chest. Good suggestions by Daniel as always.

Beautiful bird, nicely shown. I like the colors and the ocean background, the exposure looks good especially for a black and white bird. A couple areas in the white near the black, as Daniel wrote, could be toned down. Lovely image. thank you for sharing, Will.

Nice one Will and some good suggestions from other members. Would make a strong head portrait if you have enough resolution. Regards, Ian.

Hi Will, you are turning out some great images recently, and this one is no exception. Killer exposure, that head is perfect, and overall nice and sharp too. Well timed to show a bit of the wing, and I do like that distant sea BG, as well as the splash of yellow lichen. Congrats on a fine image.

Always think these birds can look a bit drab but the nice bg and the colours on the vegetation and rock lifts this ,nice exposure on the wings and head, very nice Will.
