After having done some structural renovations to the local beaver lodge, it looks like it was now time to decorate the place! Either that, or Mr. Beaver was bringing home some "flowers" to the Mrs....

Hi Daniel - nice low pov. Was this from your canoe? Interesting behavioral image and I like the reflection too. There seems to be some magenta and blue coming through on the beaver. If it were mine I would reduce both. I would also burn the highlights in the lrc a bit so that they don't draw the eye.

    TFS,
    Rachel

This has a wonderful "warm summer day" feel to me and I like it very much indeed. The greens are so luscious, great detail in the fern and even a cuteness factor. Techs look perfect to me, too.

Hi Dan, refreshing to see another different subject in gorgeous light, like the way you kept the yellow in the corner. I also like the ration & crop, works well with the content. Agree with Rachel about the colours and I wonder in this instance adding some NR to really smooth out the FG/BKG may help. Highlights in the water emphasis the scene.

Beautiful Daniel. You have an innate ability to capture wonderful subject in environment images. If I may suggest an alternate crop? Would love to know what you think. (I also did about a 1 degree straighten, based on the fern reflections and water lines.)

Thanks guys! Thanks Sandy for the repost. It certainly does change the dynamic of the image and it does get rid of the bright highlights at left. I like them both, but I kinda like the full fern. Perhaps a pano crop would be a another option too. Fun to play with images eh!

Nice POV and colour tones here Daniel.
Seems I am alone in this but it does FEEL slanted to the left to my eyes - perhaps an illusion, but worth investigating a slight CW rotation??
