    Nice head turn and eye contact and nice habitat shown, Will.
    I like the pattern of the bird. DOF looks good but the head might not be the sharpest part of the image, or my eyes deceive me.

    Nice composition, and the look-back pose is just right. Good use of the FG to frame the bottom. Having said this, I'd likely darken the brighter parts of it at left.

    Do like the way that you have got a nice clean bg,bird looks really good maybe a tiny bit soft on the head but that could be my eyes and being a bit picky, fits well into that nice moorland habitat, nice work Will.

    Hi Will a nicely composed frame and the look back pose is gorgeous .
    Overall nice warm colors and a very pleasing BG . You have nice detail and tones , but i might try to lower the contrast sightly in the blacks and HL , but very gentle !!

    Hi Will, great low perspective here, and Im glad you have sky as a BG, as Im sure if you had that foliage BG, the Grouse would be totally camouflaged. Love those colours and detail.
