Default Grungy Black Butterfly - Theme

First it was Grungy Bird, now its Grungy Butterfly....hmmmm

    Wonder what's next?

A little Nic color enhancing, lightened background, added Topaz Grunge Heavy and added frame. Flowers got a little close to edge on right, the wind must have blown them over there.

Very quiet day at work, 99F (35C outside) most people are enjoying the pool, cottage or staying in AC.

    Ciao for now

I would not have thought of a photo of a butterfly and flower for the grunge theme, but it works quite well. Perhaps because the grunge is artistic in the little shapes. The flowers close to the edge do not bother me. I could do without the frame. Nice work!

I meant to ask what you did to create all those little twirls in the image.

I love the textured look of the butterfly (i.e. the little twirls), and the contrasting colors. I agree with Anita about the frame.

Ha, you're having a heat wave and it just snowed in the high Sierra range. Go figure! I like the treatment and colors, and agree that the wind got your flowers a little close to the frame... The wind never stops blowing where I live (Simi is the Chumash Indian word for wind) and nothing stays still long enough to do macro shots!

    Thanks for your comments....

Anita I used Topaz Clean for the twirls.

As to the frame, if you look back on all my images. I love frames and I realize they are not for everyone.

Kerry I hope to see the Simi Valley soon, Sue and I are in the planning stages now. Probably will be out in So Cal last two
weeks of August or last week of August, first week of Sept. Just really depends on our jobs and if we can get away.
