    This pretty little bird was captured in a marsh just south of Lima, Peru, on a hazy morning last month. One of many tropical lifers from the trip. Audio used. Removed several distracting blades.

    D7200, ISO 1600, 1/540s @ f/6.3 manual.

    Hi Bill, this guy looks so tiny, and just love detail and various colours. Quite a busy BG, but we have to take what we get, when its a lifer - congrats. Glad you left the spider web, it adds interest.

    To me, this bird just seems to pop out of the surrounding habitat! The feather detail and sharpness are simply excellent. To me the habitat seems to provide a very nice frame around the bird and the background is sufficiently blurred directly behind it. I like it....a lot!

    Super shot of a tiny bird, The bg of rushes and the web shows its habitat well, nice how the rush near the tail is behind , they normally end up in front and spoil a great shot like this.
