The Flower Garden Walk at Longwood Gardens is now ablaze with color. But this single lily on a terrace at the beginning of the walk caught my eye, because of its color and delicate curved structures.

All comments and suggestions are welcome.

Like the light, BG, natural colors and tone balance between BG and subject. Agree, this curved structures catch the eyes and your frame did the same. TFS.

    Cheers,

Norm I think that flower would catch most people's eye - what a beautiful and complex structure it is. I like the DOF and the background contrasts nicely keeping my eyes on the flower.
It just may be worthwhile lowering the brightness of the palest brightest parts just a bit, I don't think they are overexposed but you may just get a tad more detail.

It's difficult to find a clean-looking canna, and you have a good one here. Nice DOF and good BG. I agree with Jonathan about trying to get a little more detail out of the lightest areas.

A beautiful flower - love the pastels! I also like the comp and the soft light. If mine, I'd be tempted to clone over the most distinct of the black areas in the background with a medium-opacity brush to make them less distinct and eye-catching. This is very well done!
