    I have been trying to get a picture of the adults without luck, the immature did stay out on the open for about an hour. I may not resist the temptation to post additional pics from this session.

    I like the leafy BG. Nice DOF and the flash looks natural. Good head turn and a catch light in the eye. Nice work.

    The flash is so natural that it is almost unnoticeable and that is the exact amount of flash light I like. The bird is sharp as a tack and great colors. Very good job Raul

    The picture was taken couple days ago, May 27 around 7:00PM. The least bittern has been very active for the last couple weeks at Wako. I took several shots that I have plans to post in the following days, I was able to capture up to three chicks on the same branch.
    For anybody who is familiar with Wako and plans to stop by, the first stop should be the first gazebo, right hand side, there are few bird nesting on that Island including the Least bitterns.
