    Satish:

    The light from the side gives a nice sense of form, but the head is well lit, with interesting pose.

    Well exposed.

    the feather details look just a bit 'coarse', perhaps from the sharpening?

    Satish was not sure about the white BG but the more I look the more I like it, you have some lovely sharp detail on the bird and I do like the pose, very nice.

    Lovely pose, sharp capture, great light -- I like it! Yes to halfway in between on the sharpening.
