Default Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher with Crab.

Image was created on 2nd Julu,2015.Perch was planted in front of his nest at certain distance. So I can call it as settings in the forest area. Photographed first time from hide.
Setting was for the same bird but in shadow, unfortunately suddenly there was sun lights and I have to take the chance. Overexposed but manage in editing. No lighting of eye or darkening of pupil. Shadow on the throat was lift slightly.
    Cropped from horizontal to vertical.
I hope you will like this small and beautiful bird. It is also called as Black-backed Kingfisher. He is carrying dressed Crab for his babies.

    ISO: 400, 1/320 @5.6. Spot metering. Manual. HH. 550d, 100-400 mm.

Thanks for viewing, critiques and comments,

Great bird pose, frame composition, light, perch, details and colors. Like the POV and prey is top too. If mine I would try to process eye only. TFS.

    Cheers,
    Miro

Spectacular colors and pose against nice BG. Bit of last-minute sun didn't help but handled nicely.

Miro, Thank you so much for the feed back and comments. What should I do with eye? Should I tone down the brightness of total eye or only irish?
    Suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Satish.
