    Default THEME - CHEVY GRUNGE

The 50s Chevy was discovered while shooting an early 19th century barn in the Amana Colonies of Iowa. The car was peaking out of a hole in the side of the barn. The car was on a floor above ground level. I would love to know the history of the car and barn. The car was covered with a powdery green film. In PP I applied a Topaz grunge effect and reduced the saturation. I wanted to retain some of the green. A couple lil-2-owls grunge textures were applied.

Excellent image! Love the treatment. You did an outstanding job. The monochrome, with hints of color, over all works really well. Great photo--nicely framed. I like seeing only part of the car--makes it more mysterious. I wouldn't change a thing.
I think this image should be in the Theme for the month.

A great found object! The larger headlight looks to be blinking at the viewer. Nice processing.

Gary, I really like your perspective - it gives it kind of an ominous feel to me. Perfectly processed - do you want me to make it a theme entry?

Really nice job with the theme image! I like everything about this one too, can't add much to what's been said but I really like this.

Inspired processing. I feel like it is going to jump to life and come out of storage. That head lamp reminds me of something you'd find in a Stephen King novel. I find myself transfixed by it.
