    ISO 1250 SS 1/500 F9
    PP: Small crop to 80% FF, usual LR sliders, levels, DE to grebe at 1%, NR to BG, cloned 2 little black spots on water and 1 dust spot, USM to JPEG

    Lovely bird and composition. Love how the water blends right in with the BG. The feathers on the back and side didn't look quite right to my eyes. I took the image into PS and did a little bit of burning. It improved the look of the bird quite a bit in my opinion.

    Very well done Gail. I love the POV and the details on the bird. I would like to have seen a slightly more head turn towards us, but lovely as is. Well done and thanks for sharing.

    Perfect pose, shooting angle and details. Light is nice and I love the FG/BG color. What's not to like?
