    Default Picture from the ether

I took a few pictures in my back yard this evening with my phone, and a few minutes later I got this alert that said "Google Photos has made a stylized picture from one of your photos". Um, ok... That's a little bit weird but when I looked at it this is what it had made. Not only does it look like something I would do, but it's pretty darned good as far as the processing goes! This is rather unsettling though, having a device that decides to make you a processed picture. So, the technical specs on this picture are - no camera, no thinking, and no processing. At least not by me... How far out of the box is that?

That's bizarre. Keep an eye on that iPhone -- the next thing is that it might decide to go for a stroll and take some pictures on its own.

    Pretty impressive picture, too!

Well how cool is that. I guess you can take credit for posting. I like the cross-processed look, and the blur around the edges.

Weird! This is a case where asking "What kind of camera did you use?" actually makes sense.

Thanks everyone. This app is just called "Photos" and it is available for iPhones at the iTunes App Store and for Android devices at the Google Play store. It gives you some online storage too for free. I only use it for cellphone pics so I'm not concerned about the cloud aspect of it. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5.
