    Hello everyone !

Female with 6 pups to feed , surely needs to take risks from time to time . The Jackal went deep into the backwaters of Pench Dam in order to retrieve the fish . I am not sure whether she killed the fish or the fish was already dead and floating. Nevertheless it was a sight to behold.

    Location: Pench National Park, Maharashtra,India.
    Canon 1D MKIV , Canon 300mm f 2.8 IS II with 2 xT.C.,
    1/2500, f / 8.0, iso 1000 , 50 % cropped.

    All C & C are most welcome :)

Hi Haseeb - I'm curious if you processed this back when you first processed the other jackal images you posted or if you have processed this now? I think some of the same issues that were present with that earlier post are present here.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Hi Haseeb, have to agree on the above, but I might also loose a little more in the FG, may be an inch or a tad less??? Nice detail, hard with a catch like that and with the light to retain the finer detail which makes it, well done.

    TFS
    Steve

What a "catch" by the jackal! I agree with Steve reg FG. Well exposed and great details.
