    Default Redstart

I have been too busy taking pictures and dealing with life lately to post. Good news is I got to make a lot of images and add some new species to my list!

This male American redstart is from this afternoon at a local state park.

Interesting pose Taylor! Your images would be easier to critique if you took full advantage of the 800 pixel limit. The bird looks like it might benefit from some additional sharpening. A higher ISO could have helped get you a slightly faster shutter speed, which may have helped with sharpness. The white area on the right is a little distracting, but not overly so. Thanks for posting!

Agree with Doug and can add that I would like seeing the image with a little more contrast. I like the singing pose very much !!!

Great find and singing pose. Regarding shutter speed, what ISO did you use? As said before, a bit more sharpening and contrast would make it even better.
