Great to see the difference in the plumage for the juries Will. Nice wing position and capture. On the PP side, I might be tempted to do a little selective lightening on the face just to brighten the eye a touch, but overall this is a really nice shot

I like the pose of the bird and its interesting/different plumage. I like the varied BG to make this a little different than other bird against sky images--in fact, I might try to play up the little bit of blue in the sky. I still see the yellow cast in the RP though.
The yellow cast was the first thing I though too.
Lovely, sharp, frame mate. Well done indeed with nailing this gannet.
I'd leave (or add) canvas below. A bit tight there for me.
