    Default Eider Duck

One of my favorite images I took in iceland.
I was photographing Icebergs at Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon at 2 in the morning (sunrise)
and just took this with my traveler telephoto setup when the ducks were swimming by.
Eiders are all over Iceland and I had not bothered to photograph one until then.
I never looked at it until I came home...

Beautiful Dan. I suspect it's one of those photos that gets better the bigger it's viewed. Lovely serene feel to the shot, top marks from me

Lovely and moody. It looks as if it might be swimming slightly uphill....

I agree, i love the mood and colors here. I wouldn't mind seeing it a touch looser if you have it.

I love the blues, and the silky smooth water. Very good placement of the duck within the frame. Looks like it may need a bit of CCW rotation, and some colour noise reduction on the blacks. Very well seen opportunity!

You're making me want to get to Iceland in a hurry, Dan! Very artistic image. I can see why this is your favorite.

Love the mood of the image. Really pleasing colors. Agree on a slight CCW rotation.
