    Sometimes it gets tiring holding that neck up in a perfect swan pose hour after hour. Mute Swan, taken on partially frozen lake last January.

    D7000, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 2000, 1/1600s @ f/7.1 manual, fill flash @ -1.3 EV.

    IQ on this is excellent.
    I love this shot.
    Perfect soft light, great pose and those whits are to die for!
    Fill flash use is perfect-I couldn't tell you had used it until I read your techs.

    Oh what a relief. Just a cool image, Bill with all that detail and how well the whites held up. Like the composition and the low angle. Well done.

    Neat pose and the white-on-white gives an appealing effect. For my personal taste I do wish at least a bit of the eye was visible (although I do se that it is closed).

    Hi Bill, super low shooting angle, and well done on the overall exposure. I do like the plumage detail, especially on the neck. You certainly nailed the rotation.
