I like the look back pose, exposure control, IQ, catch, water color and composition. Is the perch hard packed soil? The HA is on the verge of being to far but still good. I would love to get a shot like this one day. Excellent image Dan!

This looks awesome Dan! I really like everything about this frame from the nice pose with all those clear little Eels in it's mouth to the great exposure and details. The colors of the Puffin look beautiful against that darker blue ocean BG. Very nice!

Nice job capturing detail in the blacks and whites. Colours look great too. Nice job!

This is really nice Dan. The puffing pops of the BG and the beak full of Eels is just classic.

Unusual perch (which I like!) for this fella. Lots of vibrancy to the colours. Neat catch too. Looks like there is a repeating pattern directly behind the tail...either way a easy fix.

Good eye, Daniel! This is one heck of a puffin capture! Love how the colors pop. The mouthful of fish is perfect.

Hi Dan - Puffins are one of my favorite birds and you have captured this one very well. Great colors and bg and the food just takes it up a notch. Looks like the light was a bit bright but you handled the exp well.

    TFS,
    Rachel
