That is beautiful. The composition and colours are excellent, the poses couldn't be much better. Congratulations on a wonderful image.

Excellent composition. Nice feather details. Everything just comes together in this image. My only wish is that the second parent on the right had a little catch light.....oh well. But I believe there is a little detail that could be brought in the eye nevertheless. And perhaps a slight curve adjustment to the parent and chicks on the right to brighten the whites and increase the contrast slightly to match the grebe on the left.

Roy, What a lovely family portrait you have created. So relaxed with the one parent preening and the young resting. I see what I would describe as a "grayness" to the image and wasn't sure how to comment, so I read the other's notes, and I think that Karen's suggestion of a curves adjustment would fix what I am seeing, plus maybe a bit of warming.

    Roy:

Great family image, love the crazy patterns on the juvis. The obvious interaction of the family really is sweet.

I do appreciate what Karen and Grace commented on. I don't know this species personally, but the whites appear a little dull.

How many chicks do they usually have?

    Cheers

A real beauty, with great family interaction. Yes to a little Curves adjustment, but a fine image all around.
