    I have those at my feeder also, he didn't look big enough to me for a Grackle.

    It may appear shorter because of a lesser tail, but the pale eye and thick yet pointed bill point perfectly to Great-tailed. The quality (or lack thereof) of feathers on the breast look very young to me, hence my assumption of age.
