    Richard:

Nice display of the spurs! This one screams out to me for a vertical comp, if the image quality will hold up.

I like the head turn, and good subject isolation from background.

    Cheers

Nice light and pose, not sure if you need to go full vertical but I would definitely take some off the right.

    This is really nice Richard.
Great subject with a terrific view of that spike.
I really like the colors in the BG and you have alovely head turn and body position.
I would run some NR or gaussian blur on the BG.
I like your composition ( I like lots of space around the bird) but could see a little taken off the RHS.
    Well done,
    Gail

Wow those talons are like daggers. Nice pose, HA and colors and I like the perch and BG too. Yes to some NR on the BG. Well done Richard

I only noted the spurs after Randy's comment. Wow! What a cool bird!
I also would prefer a vertical comp! Mate, hope you can present that.
That would result in a an aesthetically far stronger presentation.
What beautiful side lighting and details, HA and all.
Well done and thanks for sharing!

I like the pose, spikes, complimentary colors and HA. The top of the perch looks like a turtles head which is pretty neat. Well done Richard.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Really appreciate the feedback. Have done both vertical and horizontal crops (and image quality is no issue).
Will post a vertical for those who want to see. Have an awesome day!
