HA - not good - most of my bird images seem to be looking out to sea this week

    Bill:

Those darn birds, just won't look the right way sometimes. I will occ. give a little "cluck" noise to see if they will turn back towards me. Sometimes works, depends somewhat on the species.

The soft light gave nice iridescence on the wing.

When I have a gaze like this, I will try to compose it so that you have more of a sense of where he is looking towards, perhaps to augment the story telling nature of the image. Esp. if there is something "out there" which I realize in this case probably wasn't possible.

    Cheers

Hi Bill, All the techs look good just wish he could have given you a bit more to work with when it came to the pose.

I would love a looser crop and a better head angle.
However, the soft light gave you lovely plumage detail.
You're getting some better shots up here now. Great to see mate!
    Keep up the great work!

    Thanks All for your comments

I can do a looser crop

Head Angle - as I said with most of my "better" shot the birds seem to want to "look out at sea" ……. a bit like some of my images!!

I need to "pay" my models more!!

    Thanks again
