Default Marbled Godwit in Evening Light

I'd be grateful if one of our resident Florida shooters could confirm the ID on this one, I think it's a Willet but not totally convinced - the amount of pink on the beak has me a little confused.

It was shot during the late evening light a couple of weeks ago at Fort Desoto, on what was designed to be my scouting mission before shooting properly the next day, but provided me with a couple of keepers

Small crop for comp with a little added canvas up top and a bit of eye doctor work

This is a marbled godwit and a very fine example and image. Love the raised foot, lovely light and your low angle.

Lovely image of this marbled godwit.
Love the light, low POV and raised foot.
The "classic " Fort Desoto BG is lovely.
    Well doen,

Looks great! I would check the eye as it appears to have the membrane partly closed?
Great BG and the raised foot adds a lot to the shot.

Hi Mike, great low perspective here, and well timed to capture the raised foot. I do like the light and colours, sharp, and that BG is a killer.

Hi Mike - This works on all fronts. Beautiful light, the pose and your low pov really make the image. Nice sharpness and detail too.

Lovely light, low shooting angle and pose. Nice graduated bg. The eye looks a bit cloudy, perhaps from the membrane.
