In honor of National Bald Eagle Day, here's a sequence of a long-time Bald Eagle pair mating while they have 2 fledglings in a nearby nest. (Facts that make you want to go "Hmmm!")

    Canon 500L & 1.4tc
    F10, 1/1250sec, ISO 1250, manual mode
    Feisol tripod, Jobu head

Thank you in advance for any comments and critiques!

Excellent shots and sequence, with a fantastic perch!! Looks like they are committed to keeping up the population.

Amazing capture Marina, I am breathless! Beautiful interaction, this is superbly processed and presented!

Looking forward to revisit this image tomorrow on the big screen, on my laptop for now as we have just returned from a trip to the local Game Reserve, could not resist looking:)

Happy National Bald Eagle Day!...and a happy moment indeed, as I opened the thumbnail to find this amazing sequence - story well told, this is so special - thank you so much for sharing!

    Warmest regards,
