A multiple exposure, then liquify, radial blur, poster edges, cross-processed. Also a slight texture added using texture brush set to dual in CS6.

This is so elegant! Love the overall dreaminess, the glow on just the bud and those faint pale lines in the bkgd. Simply beautiful!

The centre of the bud looks like it has an eye and it sleeping. Nice work, I may have cropped it a bit more but your idea, your vision.

Jackie, this is beautiful, especially the way the bud seems to be glowing and the graceful lines in the background (ditto Nancy).

The thumbnail drew me in. Love the pink against the blue-green. Wonderful glow! The textures are just right. A beautiful bud, with great curves and shapes and colors. I like everything about this image.
I'm curious to know what you did in Liquify.

    Hi Anita,
i used push left for the sepals, bloat for the bud, and push forward for the tip.

I like the ethereal feel of the image. The delicate lines in the bg keeps one's attention but do not detract from the bud.

All said above -- just gorgeous! I would never have thought to do those touches, but they made it wonderful!
