    Captured this image last week on one of the many Peruvian tributaries of the Amazon. A very plentiful species in much of South America. C&C welcome.


    D4S, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 tc, 1/320, f 5.6, ISO 1600, Monopod from skiff.

    Geoffrey I like this image, the thumbnail is a little misleading, whilst the background is not exactly idyllic I don't find it too distracting beacause you have wonderfully captured the subject.

    I don't mind the BG on this one, makes the image very natural looking. Lovely details on the bird Geoffrey and I like the perch. Good capture.
