    When the water is nice and warm, it's rude not to join the birds in getting wet! Taken hand held chest high in water - I reckon I could have got closer but would have needed a snorkel.

    Mike you are making me green with envy, many the times have been in the same position with my fishing rod in that warm almost bath like Florida water, lovely low angle and fine detail on the bird, you coped very well with that light over there, very good job.

    I would selectively reduce the bright head, that's about it. I wish we could see more of the bill, but there are ripples, so that can happen.
    A fantastic, low-level image otherwise.

    Nice image, Mike. I agree with Akos, I would selectively burn and lower the highlights on the white of the head. Florida light can blow out whites in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing.
