    Contrasting with Keith's image of a Snipe taking in the cold, pouring rain, this image was taken from a beach chair in the shade at Ft. Desoto, Pinellas County, Florida. My hat's off to those brave souls who endure nature's worst in Scotland, England, and other parts of the world. This image is a Black-bellied Plover. I know the closed eyes are unconventional but I love the expression on the bird's face. It conveyed to me how good it felt to scratch an itch. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Hi Karl, I saw the diagonal wave line. I was lazy not wanting to take the time to add canvas to rotate the image. Thanks for keeping me straight.

    Much prefer the repost Joe, like the way the bird is scratching and the closed eye that goes with it, do like image's like this, really nice. Joe give me those warm Florida beaches any day you lucky man.
