The image of these goose (I think) on a local duck pond was taken a few years ago now not long after I was able to buy my dream lens for birds. Not quite the most ideal light I suppose, but I was happy to keep shooting as I was hooked on having some decent equipment finally.

This is the male mere seconds after he copulated with his mate. Kind of letting the world know he just scored I guess.

I removed an OOF coot behind the head and a small shadow above. Also did some CW rotation. Thanks for looking.

I do that too! Excellent details, though I'm not sure if just a little more would be available in the brightest parts. Is the water level level? Maybe a little CCW rotation?

I like the proud pose, wing/tail positions, water spray and composition. Well done Akos!

Hi Mate, great wingflap, and you certainly nailed the whites. Overall, nice and sharp, and looking at the ripples in the FG, I feel the image is level.

Lovely white goose, Akos. The exposure of the whites look spot on. Good work my friend, thank you for sharing.

Well captured Akos, love the "bragging" pose and framing altogether. Well exposed and sharp, nice techs. Colours spot-on, nice PP work overall.

Err...Jonathan - you are naughty, LOL

What I like most is that wild expression in the subjects' eye - you nailed it Mate, this is one detail that makes this frame stand out for me...

Wonderful work - keep it up, so looking forward to more from you

    Kind regards,
