    Looking back at older images I came across this Baltimore Oriole from last year. C&C welcome.

    D700, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 tc, 1/1000, f 7.1, ISO 1000, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    Hi Geoffrey a need bird with great colors and a clean presentation which i quite like .
    Overall the image does look a bit flat and lifeless , sadly . Watch the noise overall in the frame , worth to revisit .

    Nice pose and detail. Beautiful colors and background. Interesting plumage on top of head (molting?). What time of year? For my taste some more room on top and less on bottom would work; and maybe brightening the eye just a tad.

    Great colours and pose Geoffrey, I to think the image is too dark and can do with some brightness to enhance it.

    Not exactly sure why but I like the unorthodox high in the frame composition here. I'd take some off the left for true 3X2. Colors rich and the image is quite sharp. a
