    Default Beautiful Demoiselle

I quite like the Nikon V1 as I can "fill the frame" more easily than a DSLR
but anything above ISO400 gets noisy and looses detail

Love these, beautiful capture, great DOF, lovely BG, no suggestions! OK, maybe if I'm really picky a little more NR on the BG.

Nicely captured, the background is a little patchy and contrasting but that is where these critters live. Well focused and exposed. I would consider a little NR on everything, then more of the background and a little extra sharpening on the demoiselle. What was the shutter speed, I am guessing the DOF on that camera is quite large so perhaps f8 or even less would be ok and then you would have a faster shutter speed.
I like the composition and pose - well done.

Lovely capture of a dramatic subject. What would you think about adding a little more canvas on the right?
