    Default Theme: Green Phoebe

Greetings. Strange fever concept (I've been ill)...

Started with a Black Phoebe, SEP to B&W then inverted, Fill layer solid green, Color Burn blend with slightly reduced opacity, masked for black (green) part. Similar recipe for eye, painted in pupil, catch light. Topaz Impression Van Gogh II with some adjustment and cloning. Masked back eye.

Thanks for looking. I've been absent for a while (sick) and will be for a while (off on vacation soon)... Hope to be back posting and commenting in July. Till then....

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

I'm sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. Your creativity, at least, seems to have recovered. This is a clever transformation -- great color and composition.

You must have had a very high fever to "see" this . Really, so sorry to hear you that you have been ill. But good of you to get back into the saddle of creativity. Great singing pose and simple perch. Maybe a "tropical phoebe" in this bright green?!

Glad to hear your on the mend. A creative idea, perhaps, reflecting the way you felt.

The colors definitely fit the theme. Nicely done.
