    Default Chipping Sparrow

With bad weather all weekend here, I just went in my backyard and made a few Chipping Sparrow images to keep the photography juices flowing. Time to find a new perch as there is a strip torn off right at the prime landing spot :o. Sparrow called in using mp3 player.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @365mm, 1/160s., f/7.1, ISO640, metered off BG at -0.7 EC, fill @ -0.7 FEC, handheld.

Nice photo Daniel, with a sharp bird but an overall soft feel. Agree about the perch.

Nice photo with a great feeling. Time for the PhotoShop perch plug-in I guess.

I like the soft light, BG and attentive pose. Maybe some NR on the BG.
