I photographed this cosmos in my little garden I planted outside my condo. Mutiple exposures, then vignette filter to make it more violet, and then a texture added at the end from Belle Fleur.

It took me a long time to see that yellow center. That's a testament to the way the image kept my attention. Those changing violet tones, set up by the multiple exposures, are wonderful. This is extraordinary.

The layered effect of the multiple exposures is most effective.

Love the soft layer below the sharper layer, very nice look. The color is very soothing and nice to look at. This would make a nice canvas print.

Thanks for the comments. I plan to explore this technique further.

Gorgeous tones of purple. I hadn't notices the yellow center until I read Dennis' comment. The petals of the flower are beautifully captured. I have difficulty commenting on multiple exposure images because multiple exposure generally doesn't appeal to me. I wonder how it would look if the bg were a lighter shade of purple instead of darker, as it might complement the softness of the flower.

I tried your suggestion Anita and I like it better. Good eye.

I like it better also. Did you try a square crop?

No square I think is too tight, I tried 5 x 7 to eliminate some of the space on the right and liked it.
