This was great fun to create and I just didn't know where to stop! Topaz simplify impressions natural exaggerated the original colors, a layer of fractalius added lines and some distortion. Then a reduced layer of Impression. I then choose various colors and painted selectively on the image. The real fun was playing with the PS distort, warp feature. I dragged points all over the place watching the changes. Too cool! Anyway then I did some more bits of painting and some adjustments.

It's always fun to create, no matter how many effects you have to add. Well done

This is terrific because of both the array of colors and the curve interrupting the diagonals. The change from one color to the next is abrupt, but within each color is a more subtle range of tones, and the whole effect is wonderful.

You mentioned the original colors. Did you start with a photo of something?

Thank you Paul & Dennis! Dennis, the base image is part of an image of some hotel lobby art. I was waiting (forever) for the airport shuttle and started to take photos of parts of the artwork, lines in ceramic wall tiles, fancy glass windows, fabric wallpaper, just about anything I could while I waited. I got a nice little collection of lines and shapes to now experiment with.

I bet it was fun to play with. Fabulous array of colours, and the perspective pops back and forth and then seems to end all on one plane on the ULC. Never ending things to photograph!

If the theme asks for bold color, this image delivers.
