My flower
This is Night Heron, juvenile in hunting pose. Slowly moving along the pond with flowers. I made a series of shots and this one in front of flower is my favorite.
This is FF.
5DIII, 600 f/4 IS II + 1.4 TC III, tripod on the raft, f/7.1, 1/2500, ISO800,
PP: NR of BG, tone adjustment, eye work and removed few spots in BG.
Location: Croatia, June 2015.
Thanks for comments and viewing.
Cheers,

This is a very unusual pose for a BCHH. I like it.
I agree that the flower enhances the picture.
I would clone out the 3 brightest specular highlights on the RHS of frame.
Well done,
Gail

Thanks Gail! In addition to mentioned highlights I was considering to clone the most RHS flower (a small one) too. I guess it would affect the natural look so I gave up. Would like to see what others will say. Thanks again!

I think this is a great shot.
I quite like the second smaller flower on the right as it creates a sort of diagonal following the bird's gaze from the birds head, open flower and closed flower. However the OOF flower head just above it could go.

This is one heck of an amazing image. It's unique for sure, and it's fun to see a different type of behavior. Works well with the environment, those pastel colors and the flower is a huge plus.

I don't mind the little highlights, but it's up to you to remove them really.
The flowers make the image stronger for sure.
I have never seen a shot like this.
Really good work Miro!

Nice low angle and sharp details. I really like the little flower. light was a bit harsh and the image come out a bit contrasty as a result, I would reduce the contrast a bit.

Good advice offered above, but let me add my congrats on this capture. Well seen, unusual, and pleasing. A nice surprise when I opened the thumbnail.

Thanks for valuable comments! I decreased the contrast of the bird and flower and cloned out the highlights on the right side.
