    Going low definitely makes this image with that great background contrasting nicely with the bird. Even though the light appears strong, you handled the contrast well inthe post-processing. I like the hard look of the light on the bird in this image and kind of plays off the soft look of the background.

    Harsh light was handled well and do like the dramatic look !!! Good pose, excellent bg and love the low angle !!!

    what a sweet image Hung.....ditto all the above.
    Love the little bit of mud on lower legs.

    might look at removing green across top, not a nit, but just a thought

    congrats on a super image....did you get wet/slimy/muddy?

    Great angle, BG and eye contact. You handled the harsh light well. I would consider lightening the shadow on the bird's back.

    I really like everything about this image. The colour are light are beautiful. Initially I liked the composition but then came back to the image and thought that if possible a bit more room might be nice at the top.

    Great composition and image. Loe the multi-colored background the details and colors of your bird are very pleasing...:cool:
