    Default Intermediate Egret.

Image was created long back. Basic editing. Catch light lighten.Cropped for composition.
NR applied to BG. Thin piece of scaly beak from the lower side of beak was removed.

ISO :320, 1/640,@9.0. Exposure Bias +0.7 step. Aperturepriority, Spot metering. 550D,100-400.
I have to use aperture priority, because it was moving in lights and shadows.

Thanks for viewing ,appreciation, comments and critiques.
    Kind Regards.
    Satish.

    Whites look excellent.
Good solid portrait and I like the color of the BG.
I would blend in the vertical band of green ( very faint I know) at the top of the frame.
Very good IQ and DOF here,
    Gail

I would prefer the "ideal" head angle. Looking away does not make a strong portrait overall.
However, it is most likely concentrating on something to find and catch, so it's not necessarily the be all end all.
You have very nice details in the whites and it is quite sharp.
Not an easy task; taking portraits. That's for sure.
    Thanks for sharing Satish.
